Hi, let me start by asking a few questions that everyone should have no problem answering.
Do you believe in God?  Do you believe God? Do you believe that the bible is the inspired word of God?

Do you believe that God made mistakes in the inspired word?
Do you believe that it is in our best interest to fix those mistakes that God may have made?
So, if you believe God is real and you believe Him.  Then why do most
people follow the Jewish law when it comes to the calendar?

Could God have made a mistake that the Jews found and fixed, or is it that there ways got in the way of God's way.  Through the little bit of studying that I have done on this issue it seems to me that the Jews feel there day of preparation is of greater importance than the Holy Days themselves.  Which is why they postpone the days so that they do not conflict with there preparation day.  Does this sound like something God would have done?

Rather, I believe that God set up His calendar perfectly.  After all He did create everything.  The whole idea just makes perfect sense.  Look for the first New Moon after the spring equinox(i.e.perfect time) and there you have it the first month.  Then count the days and/or months to find the Holy Days.  How much simpler can it get, yet so many people still have a hard time believing it and following it.  WHY?  Is it fear that we might cause division in the church?  To that I ask why divide over truth?  Instead lets join together and make God proud of us for trying to weed through the rituals that Jesus Himself tried to get rid of when He walked this very earth.  Well that's the long and short of it, maybe I'm on to something or just on something.  Either way I pray that God help you and I in our studies.

God bless,
Jeremy
